Dr Millia Begum is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Trauma Specialist based in Dubai. Her work brings together psychiatry and advanced somatic trauma therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). She specialises in helping adults experiencing Complex PTSD, attachment trauma, dissociation, grief, ADHD, anxiety, and the lasting effects of adverse life experiences.

With over 25 years of clinical experience, including more than two decades within the UK’s National Health Service, Dr Millia combines psychiatric expertise with a deep understanding of how trauma affects the mind, and body.
